CONMIX LTD. announces the setting up of their fourth dry mortar plant in the United Arab Emirates. To be built at an investment of AED 35 million, the factory is to be located in the Al Ghail industrial area, Ras Al Khaimah. Spread over an area of more than 20,000 sq mts, the state-of-the-art plant will have an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons.

Construction works at the site have commenced and the unit is scheduled to be fully operational by mid 2009.

Mr Lothar Hellenkamp - CEO, at the ground breaking ceremony said that CONMIX have been pioneers in the field of Pre Mix Plasters in the Middle East and have a history of being trend setters, not followers. In spite of the present economic scenario, he foresees the new plant not only as a sound investment for expected future growth in business for CONMIX, but also to serve as a supplement to the infra-structural development of the United Arab Emirates and neighbouring countries.
